From the pages of Little Orphan Annie, the musical Annie tells the story of a young orphan who sings her way into the heart of a billionaire and manages to catch some criminals in the process.  The music is familiar, featuring some great enduring songs that give us all hope for tomorrow.

Staged on a unit set with minor adjustments, the lighting design needed to support the beautiful music and make each environment unique.  Dynamic effects and old school tricks accomplished this.  I used old-style fresnel fixtures to reflect the run-down orphanage, motivated lighting to accentuate street scenes, and big dynamic strokes to bring us to the heart of NYC.  It was a fun and fantastic show.
